TensorFlow’s Future Development!
The TensorFlow Team has started planning the future of TensorFlow.
TensorFlow was open-sourced almost seven years ago, on November 9, 2015. Since then, TensorFlow has defined its category owing to thousands of open-source contributors and a great network of Google Developer Experts and community organizers.
TensorFlow is currently the most popular machine learning platform, with millions of developers using it.
TensorFlow’s expansion is seen as an opportunity to advance and provide the machine-learning community with greater value.
In a Blogspot posted on TensorFlow Blog, TensorFlow reported that work has already begun on the next version of TensorFlow, which will pave the way for the advancement of machine learning over the coming ten years. By concentrating on four pillars, for the enhancement of TensorFlow’s industry-leading capabilities.
Here are the four pillars of TensorFlow:
1. Fast and scalable
2. Applied ML
3. Ready to deploy
4. Simplicity
TensorFlow also promised complete backwards compatibility between TensorFlow 2 and the upcoming version. “Your TensorFlow 2 code will function exactly as is”. No conversion scripts or manual changes will need to be performed.
TensorFlow plans to release a preview of the new TensorFlow capabilities in Q2 2023 and will release the production version later in the year.
